The LeapFrog® Text and Learn is a savvy gift idea for really young kids.  It weighs a mere 1.2 pounds and can easily held by kids and taken anywhere.  Plus, unlike most current PDAs, the keys are spaced more to allow younger kids more room for error increasing their enjoyment of this game.
